Neon Works in New York City
In another of my shooting experiences in New York City, I learned of the Neon Works in Times Square. A 3-minute showcase of art that displays, during the month of February, the work of Tracey Emin. But before that, I had the great experience of being in a workshop with photographer Roberta Fineberg who taught us the basics about shooting at night and specially at a busy and well-lit place such as Times Square. We started shooting at 11 pm, getting our cameras ready for the 3-minute show at 11:57 pm. People waving at large screens, walking around, and just looking up, and the smooth drizzling rain made the night a great one. If you want to see the show, rush to Times Square until February 28th and look up between 46th and 47th streets.
